-- This item can avoid short circuits and circuit breakdown caused by simultaneous turning on the main and generation breaker, providing a safe and simple solution to power breakdown.

-- This interlock kit meets the requirements of Article 702 of the National Electric Code ANSI/NFPA 70.

-- Main breaker must be in off position before generator breaker can be turned on. NEVER back feed a breaker panel without a generator breaker interlock kit. Doing so could easily energize utility lines with very high voltages that could easily be lethal to a lineman or other utility worker.

-- The spacing between the bottom of the main and the first breaker on the left is 1 1/4 of an inch.
